Does XY Archive Have a Dedicated IP Address for Filtering Purposes?

In order for us to archive your website, our Archiver bot must first crawl the site to determine which pages are appropriate for capture, then it screenshots each page's contents for archival. In some cases, you may have to work with your webmaster or web host to ensure that the Archiver is able to properly load your website for archival.

Archiver Traffic

Requests by the Archiver to your website must be permitted for it to be able to archive your website properly, but its requests might be unexpected if you have analytics reports that are trying to accurately track direct traffic. Tools such as Google Analytics provide the ability to filter out bot traffic by IP address or User-Agent. (Refer to your analytics tool's documentation for the latest guidance.)
