Creating a Download for Social Media and Email

Once you have your accounts linked, you can start creating downloads of your archived data.

Note: See the page on Website Archives instead if you need to download website data!

Creating a Download

To start a download of your social media and email data:

1. Navigate to your Data page and click on the "Download" tab.

2. You have a few options on the download you choose:

  • Date range: enter a date range for the time period of the data you want to archive. We allow a maximum of one year at a time per archive download.
  • Sources: choose as many sources as you want to include in the download. If a regulator only asks for one email account's data, you can scope the download here. Don't choose anything if you want to download all of your data.
  • Filter Emails: if your regulator asks for all communications from or to a specific client or person, enter their email(s) here. If not, leave blank.

3. Click "Request Download". When your download is ready, it will display under Social Media & Email Downloads and you'll also receive an email with a link to download!

4. Click on the blue "Download" button to view your download.

Note: Archive downloads remain available for 30 days, but you can always re-request a new download if needed.
